System Search is currently recruiting experienced Commercial Lines Account Managers for the following Virginia Locations:
Responsibilities of the Account Manager include:
- Serves as main point of contact for the client including addressing client questions, providing guidance on appropriate coverage and/or contractual requirements, and educating client on exclusions and exposures
- Assists with strategic design of insurance plans for clients with little to no supervision
- Markets, negotiates, prepares, and analyzes alternative renewal options
- Acts as field underwriter and authorized representative of insurance carriers to determine whether or not coverage should be bound; binds coverage as appropriate
- Strategically assists in the remarketing of renewals to ensure high level of account retention
- Oversees preparation of proposals for client, including submissions, loss evaluations, and risk analyses
- Builds and maintains constructive and effective relationships with clients by meeting and exceeding expectations
- Prepares summaries of insurance and schedules, binders, certificates, policies, or endorsements
- Reviews and verifies accuracy for each step in the policy cycle
Ideal Requirements of the Commercial Lines Account Manager:
- Property & Casualty License in state of domicile is required
- Independent Agency background a plus
- Preference given to individuals that have insurance designations (e.g. CISR, CIC, CPCU)
- College Degree preferred
- Account management experience in the Insurance Industry in Commercial Lines of Coverage
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Analytical and mathematical skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
