System Search is recruiting for Benefits Account Managers in North Carolina Locations including:
- Charlotte, NC
- Gastonia, NC
- Raleigh, NC
Responsibilities of the Benefits Account Manager:
Manages end-to-end Group Client onboarding and service
Day-to-day contact for service issues such as billing, eligibility, claim resolution, etc.
Prepares and provides benchmarking along with proposals for client evaluation
Assists with marketing preparation, including spreadsheeting all proposals/li>
Manages new carrier/vendor and plan implementations for book of business
Responsible for collaborating to prepare open enrollment materials, reviewing and editing all content including rates
Prepares and presents Open Enrollment presentations, both in person and virtually
Participates in peer review as both participant and reviewer of standards of client deliverables
Maintains communication with carriers/vendors to support client
Troubleshoots all Open Enrollment issues as they arise
Audits first invoices post-enrollment to ensure accurate rates
Manages implementation of new products and services during renewal season (or as needed off cycle)
Works with Client Team in overall development and execution of benefit strategy, utilization, reviews, and renewal/marketing strategy development
Ideal Benefits Account Manager candidates have the following:
North Carolina Life & Health Producer License Preferred
Experience dealing with financials of Health & Welfare Plans, ideally gained in a Benefit Consulting/Brokerage Firm or Health Underwriting or Actuarial Function of an Insurance Company
Strong working knowledge of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
College Degree Preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
Well-organized and detail-oriented
Strong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way
