System Search is recruiting for experienced Employee Benefits Account Executives in North Carolina Locations including:
 

  • Asheville, NC

 
Responsibilities of the Account Executive:

     
  • Assists Producer in all aspects of servicing existing clients and maintaining relationships with key decision makers
  • Identifies and solicits additional revenue through cross-sales to existing clients and identifying new opportunities
  • Develops and maintains excellent relationships with insurance company underwriters and representatives to effectively oversee and negotiate new and renewal marketing process
  • Develops and manages strategic project plans for each client’s renewal
  • Advises clients regarding healthcare reinsurance contract options
  • Creates and presents complex custom client contribution models
  • Analyzes carrier underwriting methodologies, validates carrier recommendations, and advises client regarding carrier projections
  • Participates in sales and service meetings with clients and marketing meetings with analysts to secure new business and maintain renewal business
  • Effectively communicates all aspects of the Affordable Care Act and other compliance topics such as HIPAA and ERISA
  • Develops, monitors, and presents client dashboards highlighting key health utilization performance areas for clients
  • Negotiates program renewals on behalf of client to attain best outcomes
  • Works with Analyst to develop strategy and timeline to ensure efficient and effective client outcomes
  • Leads Open Enrollment presentations to educate client executive teams (CFO, CEO, HR Director)
  • Presents and effectively communicates information regarding programs to client populations during OPen Enrollment meetings

    Qualifications & Experience:

       
  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Life & Health Insurance License
  • Benefit administration experience is required
  • Excellent understanding of underwriting methodologies
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to work well with client executives
  • Ability to lead internal service team: managing timelines and establishing expectations
  • Insurance Designation a plus
  • Ability to successfully implement project management strategy
  • Superior organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively prioritize
  • Advanced Excel skills
