The Talent Acquisition Specialist will help develop and execute sourcing strategies to produce qualified candidates to meet current and future hiring needs.
Recruiter responsibilities include:
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with leaders, hiring managers, and other team members to create partnerships that lead to recruiting success
- Sources for passive candidates to fill current open positions
- Pre-screens candidates based upon specific abilities and cultural fit
- Conducts phone interviews as the initial screening for qualified candidates
- Coordinates in-person and virtual interviews where appropriate
- Monitors market conditions to advise on compensation and benefits
- Builds relationships at target universities for intern recruiting
- Manages applicants in our ADP ATS
- Serves as a brand ambassador, ensuring a professional and positive experience for all hiring managers and candidates
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal Qualifications & Experience of Recruiter:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- At least four years of recruiting experience
- Recruiting in the insurance industry is preferred
- Highly Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter, ADP ATS
- Strong desire to serve others well
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented and autonomous self-starter who takes initiative and can thrive and problem solve under tight deadline
- Positive and enthusiastic with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well independently or in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to travel occasionally within our four-state footprint
