Insurance Training & Development Specialist

System Search, Inc. is seeking an Insurance Training & Development Specialist for a Remote Position. The Specialist will work in conjunction with the Training & Development Team and the Epic Team, responsible for the creation, execution and delivery of Insurance Training Programs and learning paths as well as meeting all Performance Requirements.  Training and development activities include, but are not limited to:  Creation of training programs; progression mapping; program roll-out; assisting with curriculum design and creation; creating course content, tools & materials; participant support & feedback; measurement & continuous improvement; etc. Specialist will be responsible for strategic coordination and execution of day-to-day administrative activities and capable of resolving complex problems, showing the ability for critical thinking and thought process in taking the next step in the best interest of the Company.

Position Summary:


    • Maintains high degree of technical competence and expertise in Company’s learning management systems, agency management systems, CRM tools, etc.
    • Develops competency in utilizing course authoring software to build engaging and interactive training
    • Maintains frequent, transparent communication with direct supervisor regarding individual performance and activities, ensuring that the department leadership is fully informed of workload status; questions; concerns; or issues and proactively identifies and facilitates appropriate/corrective actions to be taken
    • Travels to and meets with branch operations teams, as needed
    • Provides operational training and support throughout assigned area of responsibility, including:
      • Work processes; workflows; procedures
      • Assists in curriculum design and course development
      • Creation of learning paths for groups and individuals
      • Creation of high quality course content, tools and materials that allow participants to fulfill identified learning objectives
      • Delivery of highly engaging classes and other learning opportunities using a wide variety of platforms and methods, instructor-led and remote classrooms; and eLearning
    • Completes duties and special projects accurately, completely and within required timeframes
    • Supports branch and regional operations/sales teams by evaluating, recommending, providing training on a variety of subjects and circumstances
    • Develops, implements, monitors, and improves compliance with core work processes, workflows and procedures throughout company, including identification and adoption of best practices
    • Delivers excellent service at all times, including quickly responding to all inquiries and requests for support and exhibiting high levels of professionalism and domain expertise
    • Maintains high degree of technical competence and continually stays abreast of all company policies and procedures to ensure good knowledge, execution and compliance of standard operating procedures

    Qualifications & Experience:


        • 5+ years of industry experience, with deep, wide-ranging industry knowledge
        • 3+ years of experience in training others in insurance coverages and/or workflows/procedures
        • Demonstrated ability to effectively teach/train others in knowledge, skill, procedures and workflows
        • Excellent platform teaching and presentation skills
        • Ability to quickly learn, apply and teach new concepts, processes and information
        • Ability to design, author and build teaching materials, including presentations and written documentation
        • Ability to effectively use technology for all aspects of course/curriculum delivery and administration
        • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
        • Exceptional customer service skills
        • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
        • Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
        • Teachable, responding positively to direction and coaching
        • Ability to perform large work volumes with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
        • PC proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

        • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
