Employee Benefits Account Manager

We have an immediate opening for an Employee Benefit Account Manager in Greensboro, NC to serve as the primary point of contact for client interaction, service and sales. The Benefits Account Manager will serve Clients by providing product and service information. Necessary to be the first point of contact for Clients when they need assistance resolving product and service concerns and service requests of new and renewal insurance accounts.
Responsibilities of Employer Benefit Services Account Manager will be to:


    • Lead Projects, deadlines, and meetings utilizing Project Management tools
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other customer stakeholders
    • Manage the annual renewal process and client termination process
    • Participate in bi-annual client meetings to thoroughly review accounts
    • Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) process with Health Insurance Carriers and internal analyst
    • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
    • Coordinate the work of others

    Ideal Employer Benefit Services Account Manager candidates have the following:


    • 2 years of benefit administration experience required
    • Life, Accident, & Health License  or the ability to obtain within 90 days
    • CEBS designation and/or work towards the designation preferred
    • Two to four year college degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • Proficient computer skills – Agency Management Systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
