Accountant – Accounting Analysts

System Search is currently recruiting for multiple Accounting Analysts of all levels in the Charlotte, NC area to perform complex accounting activities. Analyst will support Management in the monitoring and safeguarding of company assets, achieved through analyzing and reconciling receivable/payable transactions. Position will effectively communicate with internal and external customers, while successfully maintaining high level of Customer Service.
 
Responsibilities:

 
• Ensure timely collection of receivables per Accounting protocol
• Ensure timely remittance of Retailer, Market, and Vendor payables per Accounting protocol
• Reconcile payment support to transactions in Accounting System
• Respond promptly to premium billing inquiries from customers / clients
• Identify accounting discrepancies within the accounting sub-ledger and work with Senior Analyst to review and provide resolution
• Process adjustments and write-offs within Analyst authorized threshold
• Escalate Aged accounts and reconciling items according to protocol and maintain Aged percentage of less than 1%
• Review and clear Unapplied Cash Items in accordance to protocol
• Research and analyze cash applications within Accounting System and Wells Fargo CEO
• Monitor premium Audits and escalate in accordance to protocol

 
Qualifications & Experience:

 
• Bachelor’s Degree- (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent work experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a fast paced environment and complete work within scheduled deadlines
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
